We have two main chefs and a cook, which have a combined total of 30 years experience in preparing the finest Indian and Bengal cuisine.
The aim of Empire of India is to satisfy every member of the community of Keynsham, Bristol and beyond. They key aim is to make sure the local community can make themselves at home at our restaurant and enjoy the british tradition of an Indian curry every evenings and on Weekends.
Once you come to our restaurant, we want you to experience friendly service & enjoy the best food in town, carefully selected by our chefs. We have very a comfortable and family, friendly environment. So, you can wine and dine by bringing your own Alcoholic beverages. (corkage fee applies and we provide the soft drinks).

History behind the name
The name Empire of India was inspired by the history of the 1800’s- 1900’s when the Great British Queen entered India after the reign of the Mughal Emperors. At this time, India was full of many elegant palaces and empires.
An empire is the name given to a home for a King or Queen. So we believe every person should be able to enjoy a meal exclusively at his or her own comfort as if they were royalty – no matter what your status or background!
